If you haven't heard, in an interesting turn of events, Congress is demanding the Army buy tanks that the Army simply doesn't want. One may ask, why? Well, apparently, the champions of the $436 million bill are from Ohio, the one state where the tanks are made. The Army insists that they would rather use the money for other projects, but Congress wants them to buy the tanks. Think about it: Congress refuses to save some of the Army's important projects from the sequester, but insists they take money for a tank that they don't want. Hmmmm...
